It is time to remember, to look back to review the achievements and realize that the effort paid off.
We begin this new year 2022 with enthusiasm and with the push that all the recognitions achieved in the year that we left behind give us. 2021 has been the first year in which we have participated in Design Contests and the result has been fabulous for our brands: García Requejo and Germiled.
We want to make a compilation of the recognitions achieved as a way of gratitude:
We started with the IDA Awards, an international recognition created to celebrate and promote design visionaries, as well as to discover emerging talents in Architecture, Interiors, Product, Graphic and Fashion Design around the world. In this contest we achieved: Silver in the category of Industrial Design and safety designs in life sciences; and Bronze in Special Purpose Lighting.
We continue with an Honorable Mention at the European Product Design Awards, to our 60×60 Duo lamp by Germiled. For its part, FAE (Confederation of Business Associations of Burgos) awarded us with the FAE Innovation 2021 Award. The Burgos Chamber of Commerce also wanted to value our work with a Special Mention for Reinvention against Covid19 in the SME of the Year 2021 Awards. On the other hand, the International Trade Council recognized us with the GO GLOBAL AWARDS as Top Placer Wholesale.
To end this past year full of awards, two of our products received their recognition in the LIT (Lighting Design Awards). Germiled’s HALO Lamp model, awarded in the “Healthcare Lighting” category, thanks to its triple function to decorate, illuminate and purify the ambient air with its UVC disinfection system; and the FLY Lamp by García Requejo, recognized in the category of “Pendant Lighting” for its design inspired by nature and the action of flying.
With this compilation of awards, we face 2022 grateful, full of enthusiasm and with the best spirit to continue creating, designing and adding value in the world of lighting and decoration.
