The building where this luxurious hotel is located has great heritage value, as it is located in what was once Havana’s first commercial gallery, built in 1894 with references to the European style of the time. A complete and extraordinary restoration was carried out in 2015, for which it was awarded with the Prix Versailles of Architecture in 2018.
Its central location allows guests to enjoy the magnificent views of the theatre and the Capitol from the hotel rooms, as well as a variety of entertainment venues in the immediate vicinity. This makes it an ideal place for both pleasure trips and business meetings.
Its luxurious rooms and spacious colonial-style suites with high ceilings and French windows brim with light and color thanks to the custom-made lighting solutions. The attractive floor and table lamps that decorate the hotel rooms designed by García Requejo, add personality to the elegant and contemporary style of the rooms. All luminaires use LED technology to offer low heat dissipation, low energy consumption and also to create warm and sustainable atmospheres.
The luminaires that decorate the arcades of this historic building (also custom-designed), create a series of plays of light, colors and shadows that sculpt and shape this magnificent architectural work, giving it a magical touch. In addition, it should be emphasize that our lamps meet the technical and resistance criteria required for outdoor lighting, in order to give them a high level of resistance to corrosion that extends their useful life and reduce the environmental impact.
