The design of its composition is based on the search to merge two elements, two types of light, with two different purposes. The UVC lighting technology has the purpose of sterilising air and surfaces, while the LED bulb focuses on ambient lighting.
The inspiration for the shape design is the intersection of two ovals representing the union of two types of light. N-27 DUO includes a presence detector or radar sensor located on the front of the lamp to deactivate the UV-C function when motion is detected in the operating range.
N-27 DUO has been awarded with:
• IDA 2020 (International Design Awards) Silver, in the category “Industrial and Life Science Design-Safety”.
• IDA 2020 (International Design Awards) Bronze, in the category “Lighting – Special Purpose”.
