García Requejo positions itself as a leader in the sector after its last project in Cuba

The Spanish company García Requejo goes back to Havana to light up one of the most important hotels in the city: The Iberostar Grand Packard Hotel.
Opened last september, the luxurious Iberostar Grand Packard Hotel is the second five star plus category hotel in the Cuban capital; and also the last one counting with García Requejo for its lighting project.

With this project, the Spanish company becomes a leader in the lighting and furniture sector. The brand has iluminated its more than 300 rooms and also the common areas.
This is not the first time that García Requejo is in charge of lighting a hotel in Havana; the Manzana Kempinski Hotel, prizewinner of the Versailles award, also chose the Spanish brand to develop its important project.

 

Located in Paseo del Prado, the main street of Old Havana, the hotel is one of the most important structures of the capital. Built in 1911 and abandoned some decades later, some improvements were made in 1997. However, it was not until 2015 when the full remodellation that has brought back the former relevance started.
This project has integrated the original charm of this iconic hotel, where renowned people such us Pablo Neruda or Marlon Brando stayed, with the most innovative luxury design.

From Miranda de Ebro, García Requejo positions itself as a leader in the market, through the numeorus projects both in the island and in other South American countries.
