Christmas is getting closer and closer. Although this year will be different, our desire to decorate and to get ourselves into Christmas spirit never change. For this reason, as usual as other years, we have collected some of decorating trends for 2020 Christmas.
White color:
It is commonly seen in Christmas decoration, especially in the Scandinavian style, but this year it plays a special role.
We can see it in furniture, textiles or decorative accessories. Especially on Christmas trees. This white color makes those green Christmas pines stand out better.
White color, in combination with natural wood always wins. If we add some DIY elements, we will have a top 10 in Christmas decoration.
Sustainable Christmas:
Sustainability and minimalism, more than just a trend, are a lifestyle. Natural materials, hand-made ornaments and candles dominate in a decoration style that emphasize more on sobriety and neutral than that we were used to living with at this time of the year.
When it comes to textiles, we can choose wool, linen or felt that create a clear tone. Although we can also go for classic red tartan to add a touch of color.
Metallic shades:
Christmas decoration would be a bit tasteless if there are no metallic shades, and so would be the year 2020. Gold and bronze are on-trend in this season, and a hint of these shades would add magic to our rooms.
Classic lamps and/or candlesticks:
Classic style lamps always would be good options at this time of year. If we choose gold or bronze finish, we will catch up both trends!
Even though you have a preference for candlesticks, elegance and sophistication would be there!
