Our Participation in the Contract Events in Baku and Tashkent

At García Requejo, we continue to strengthen our international presence and bring our bespoke lighting solutions to new markets. This month, we took part in two key Contract-sector events in Baku (Azerbaijan) and Tashkent (Uzbekistan), where we had the opportunity to present our work to local professionals and companies.

Baku: Connecting with the South Caucasus

In Baku, we met with more than 120 architects, designers and distributors alongside other Spanish companies from the sector. It was an excellent occasion to showcase the value of Spanish design and explore new collaboration opportunities in a market that is rapidly expanding. The event was supported by the Economic and Commercial Office of Spain in Ankara, whose role was essential in identifying opportunities and reinforcing Spain’s presence in the region.

Tashkent: A Market in Transformation

We also participated in the Contract Business Day 2025 in Tashkent, where we held B2B meetings and presented our bespoke lighting solutions for interior design and construction projects. Uzbekistan is undergoing strong urban development, making it a highly attractive market for our industry. The Economic and Commercial Office of Spain in Tashkent continues to play a key role in facilitating the presence of Spanish companies in this strategic environment.
